New MIK THERMO W - 1st place for energy efficiency

Up to 25% energy savings compared to selected competitors

As a trendsetter the MIK INTERNATIONAL AG introduced a new king-size heating system for farrowing and nursery pens at the EuroTier 2008. The visitor's fascination has now been officially approved. The internationally well reputed Technical Supervisory Association (TÜV) tested the MIK THERMO warm water system and verified the following results.
The 500 x 1200 mm panel showed a convincingly low consumption of 196.3 watt (327.2 watt/sqm) -  surpassed only by its "big brother", the 600 x 1200 mm panel,  with a consumption of only 316.7 watt/sqm.

Needing a supply temperature of only about 45-46°C the warm water system significantly improves the annual use efficiency of condensing or low temperature boilers and regenerative heating installations. The energetic efficiency of the MIK THERMO W results from the integrated insulation which minimizes the downward heat emission.
The advantage of the MIK THERMO W over competing heating systems with a consumption of up to 428.5 watt/m² amounts to a saving potential of up to 25%!

Furthermore the even heat distribution of the new THERMO W is highly impressive. According to the TÜV tests 100 % of the surface provides a temperature in the advantageous heat range of 37-43°C, regarding the German Agricultural Society (DLG) temperature scaling (82% optimal, 39-41°C). This homogeneity is mainly achieved by the one-of-a-kind filling method preventing the formation of air bubbles within the panel.
